【百道编按】goodread最近让读者对2013年出版的图书封面进行票决。网站提供了600多种候选图书，1800多名读者参加投票，选出100种他们觉得很过得去的图书封面。位于榜首的是《法条公主》的封面，美籍女作家卡桑德拉·克莱尔出生在伊朗首都德黑兰。该书是“地狱装置”系列之三，这是一本关于毁灭和拯救的小说，472人为这本书投票，使其分值遥遥领先第二名。该书在goodreads上的读者评分也极高，达到接近五星水平的4.58分。我们将排名前五十的图书封面发布如下，对这些封面的评判，仁者见仁，智者见智，但有一点可以明确的是，如果封面不是特别糟糕，读者对内容的偏好不免会移情封面。因此，对于这些图书，与其说是欣赏封面，不如说借封面进一步了解美国读者的阅读偏好。
